Therapy for Professionals - New York City

At last, experience a sense of purpose and clarity, fully understanding yourself and your life's direction.

Success

The pursuit of success can often lead to frustration and self-doubt. However, genuine success is achieved by crafting a life that aligns with your values and goals.

Strength

Strength can be mental and physical; real strength comes from seeking support when you need it and addressing challenges head-on.

Stability

In a demanding and fast-paced city, peace of mind comes from knowing that you can handle whatever comes your way.

Therapy that changes how you live your life

Sometimes, we need a little extra support, even if it can be hard to admit it.

As a busy NYC professional, balancing career demands with personal well-being can feel overwhelming. The pressure of living up to expectations adds another layer of stress, making it even harder to find balance and fulfillment.

I'm here to help you navigate the challenges of New York City's isolating, competitive environment with psychotherapy tailored to your needs.

Together, we'll work on trusting your decisions, accepting yourself fully, and healing from past traumas.

My goal is to guide you towards living with purpose and forging your own path to a successful, balanced life.

Therapy - New York, In-Person and Online. Midtown Manhattan.

Hi, I'm Dr. Garfinkle, JD, PsyD, licensed psychologist.

Many of my clients are high achievers who attain success in some important areas of their lives yet still feel unsatisfied with where they find themselves.

The resulting anxiety and depression make it harder for them to feel engaged in the things that once gave life meaning and interferes with their ability to connect to themselves and to others.

As a psychologist and former attorney, I use my clinical skills and training to help you understand how your life experiences have shaped the characteristic patterns of feeling and behaving that get in the way of happiness.

This knowledge increases your sense of agency, allowing you to make meaningful changes to strengthen relationships, improve wellness, manage stress, and enhance creativity.
